I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
